Explore Petty’s Island
Join Climate Revolution Action Network for a guided walk on Petty’s Island, one of New Jersey’s hidden ecological gems! This educational hike will explore the island’s unique history and diverse ecosystems — from wetlands and shoreline habitats to forested areas that support migratory birds and other wildlife.
We’ll enjoy a relaxed walk (no hills, but some uneven ground) as we connect with nature and learn how restoration efforts are helping protect this vital space. Expect both shaded and sunny spots along the route, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
