Stop the South Brunswick Data Center
A massive 341,000-square-foot AI data center is being built at 4405 Route 1 in South Brunswick, on the former Princeton Nurseries property. The project was approved in 2025 despite growing concerns about its potential impacts on nearby communities.
The facility’s draft air permit includes 12 massive diesel generators, each capable of producing 3,620 kilowatts of electricity. These generators could release harmful air pollutants, including benzene, formaldehyde, and nitrogen oxides, raising serious concerns about public health and air quality.
We still have an opportunity to fight back! The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) extended the project’s air permit comment period until November 9th because of efforts by Senator Andrew Zwicker (LD-16), and residents can now submit public comments urging the state to reject it.
Make your voice heard and help protect South Brunswick and surrounding communities like Franklin, West Windsor, Princeton, Plainsboro, Monroe, East Brunswick, North Brunswick, Cranbury and others from additional pollution.
