Onyema Petition Signatures
Fight For District 28’s Future
Elections in New Jersey start with the people—literally. To get on the ballot, candidates like Chigozie Onyema must collect petition signatures from registered voters in their district. This is how grassroots campaigns begin: with community support, neighbors talking to neighbors, and direct engagement with voters.
Right now, Chigozie is working hard to secure the signatures needed to officially appear on the ballot, and we need your help! CRAN is organizing a day of action to knock on doors, talk to voters, and collect these crucial petition signatures. This is the first step in building a campaign that stands for environmental justice, clean energy, and the well-being of working-class communities of color.

Paterson Falls National Park Clean Up
Paterson Great Falls is a national park, but you wouldn’t know it from how it’s been left behind. This place is a landmark of the labor movement, a reminder of working-class power, and proof that public land belongs to the people. But like so many national parks, it’s been neglected. They let the trash build up, they let the space decay, and they count on no one doing anything about it.
So we’re doing something about it.
We’re pulling up to clean it up and send a message. We take care of what’s ours. We fight for what matters. We’re not letting them erase these spaces while we watch.
