SUMMARY:C4 Launch Party
DESCRIPTION:Climate Revolution Action Network is officially launching as a 501c4 organization\, marking a major expansion of youth-led political and climate organizing in New Jersey. \nIn just two years\, CRAN has grown into the largest Gen Z organization in the state\, organizing thousands of young people to fight for climate justice\, corporate accountability\, and economic equity. Our organizers have helped deliver major statewide wins\, from supporting progressive candidates up and down the ballot to advancing policies that directly impact affordability\, public transit\, environmental protection\, and public health. \nOur work has included helping secure billions in operating revenue for NJ Transit through the Corporate Transit Fee\, advancing open space funding\, fighting for the Protecting Against Forever Chemicals Act to address PFAS contamination\, and preserving nearly a thousand acres through the Save Black Run Preserve campaign. \nAt the same time\, we are leading ongoing statewide fights to Make Polluters Pay\, lower energy bills\, take on big tech\, protect Indigenous history\, and ensure climate policy centers working people. \nBut CRAN’s power is not just in policy wins. It is in movement building. \nWe are training the next generation of organizers on campuses and in communities across New Jersey. Through organizing bootcamps\, policy trainings\, and digital campaigns\, we are inserting young people into decision making spaces at the local\, county\, and state level. Our organizers are shaping agendas\, leading coalitions\, and driving advocacy in every region of the state. \nThrough digital organizing\, CRAN communicates with millions of people each month and has already generated millions of advocacy letters in support of climate and justice campaigns. This launch party celebrates the infrastructure we have built and the political home we are creating for young people ready to fight for their future. See you there.  \n

SUMMARY:Early Spring Tree ID on the Mullica
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a guided nature walk focused on tree identification in Wharton State Forest. We’ll walk a ~1.5 mile section of the Mullica River Trail (~3 miles total) while discussing identification techniques for native trees and shrubs of the Pinelands region. We’ll also explore how different tree species form a part of the larger ecosystem of the Mullica River Watershed. This is a great opportunity to connect with the unique ecosystem of the Pinelands region\, ask questions\, and deepen your understanding of the local environment– no previous tree identification knowledge required! Unfortunately\, this trail is not ADA accessible. We hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:AI Data Center Campaign Launch
DESCRIPTION:Join Climate Revolution Action Network for the launch of our new campaign on AI data centers in New Jersey. As these facilities rapidly expand across the state\, they are placing major new demands on our power grid\, consuming enormous amounts of water\, and raising serious questions about transparency\, labor protections\, and community oversight. \nDuring this virtual meeting\, we will break down the impacts of AI data centers\, share the research and mapping work our team has compiled on facilities across New Jersey\, and outline the strategy ahead. This includes pushing for stronger state policy\, supporting local moratorium campaigns in communities facing new proposals\, demanding clear reporting on energy and water use\, and organizing residents with the data and tools needed to take action.
